There are a number of beaches in the area. Kalkan itself has a beach and there are beach clubs available by boat.

You may prefer to take a jeep safari (available locally) into the Taurus Mountains. Saklikent Gorge is a must-see attraction with its majestic rocks rising high, as you wade through the cooling waters.

Amphitheatre at Xanthos
Amphitheatre Xanthos
Many visitors are attracted to this region by the ancient Lycian Way. Xanthos and Letoon, just a few miles away, are notable examples of Lycian sites, whilst towards Kas, Myra is said to be the birth place of St Nicholas. Rock tombs and amphitheatres are typical of many of the ancient sites whilst Tlos boasts a hilltop fort.
