Central to a holiday in Turkey for most people is the sun and the pool.

Villa Corisande is not part of a complex; it offers a private pool just for use by our guests. At 6m by 4m there is room for everyone and plenty of space for pool toys, lilos etc. There are six locally hand made wooden loungers with cushions which can be wheeled into and out of the shade of the sun parasols as you require.

The sparkling water of the blue-tiled pool invites you to jump right in. In the heat of August the refreshing water is amazingly warm. The pool is maintained daily (almost certainly before you wake up) and the garden of the villa is watered daily by our pleasant local staff.

To one side is a dramatic stone wall draped with bouganvillia, and the pool area is tiled in local stone.

From the pool area you can really appreciate Villa Corisande's spectacular location. The villa is high enough to allow you a stunning view of the Bay of Kalkan - but not so high as to make you reliant on taxi or car to get into or out of town/market etc. The view from the lounger is ever present - simply raise your eyes from your book and gaze at the dramatic Taurus moutains tumbling down to the azure-blue sea before you.

For the more active - swimmers or even lilo surfers - you can see the sea when you are in the pool.

At night the pool can be illuminated and there are lights surrounding the pool area and breakfast terrace. As the dusk falls and the warm Turkish night draws on Villa Corsiande is unforgettably romantic.
