A short walk from Villa Corisande lies the picturesque town of Kalkan. Kalkan caters for both locals and tourists with a variety of traditional shops and many cafes and restaurants. Evening in Kalkan is a time for families to enjoy a quiet meal or a stroll through its winding streets. With numerous restaurants (some say over 100) the town remains a bustling place well into the evening.

Walk on further into the town and you reach Kalkan Harbour. Sit on the beach for a while or watch the fishing boats setting off for the day. From the Harbour you can take a gulet trip around the local islands.

On your return to the villa you may wish to stop at the local supermarket to stock up on provisions. There is also a bank (with ATM), post office, butcher, fishmonger and greengrocer as well as other stores for your convenience. In Kalkan there are also a number of internet cafes.

The walk from the villa to the town centre takes about 10 minutes. Unlike from many villas in Kalkan, the hiring of a car or taxi is not necessary - the return journey is uphill, but not difficult, although good footwear is advisable.
